Certified Yoga Instructor, Co-Owner
Berkleigh Diaz is Berlin’s only Kidding Around Yoga Instructor. Berkleigh grew up in Ocean City, graduating from Stephen Decatur in 2005. Continuing her education at Salisbury University, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. In her mid-twenties she became interested in yoga when a dear friend, Chrissy, and owner of Zenna Wellness Yoga Studio suggested she attend one of her classes as she was struggling with the overwhelming anxiety & stresses of life.
After realizing the positive, therapeutic, dare I say life changing, benefits a yoga practice was having on her (as an adult), she knew she wanted to share it with her children. After difficulty finding a children’s yoga class suitable for pre-k & elementary age children that met on a regular basis, she decided she would take the leap into teaching.
In February 2016 she became a Certified Kidding Around Yoga Teacher. Kidding Around Yoga is registered and accredited through Yoga Alliance. She uses the KAY system as a basis for all her classes, which incorporates, cardiovascular conditioning, fun and original music, plus all of the traditional benefits of Yoga; meditation, breathing techniques, peace, and deep relaxation. As a Kidding Around Yoga Teacher she specializes in Pre-K – 17 Years. She is currently in the process of completing all training for her 200 RYT, which gives her the ability to teach adults, however, her passion lies with children.
She fully believes that we have been given the power as a parent, teacher, friend, and community, to encourage our youth to live a healthy, peaceful, lifestyle which recognizes that all beings are created equally. That this life can be as beautiful as we make it! A simple yet effective mantra Berkleigh uses with her students is “Peace Begins With Me”. It is her belief that now more than ever, we need to create a generation of peaceful children. Berkleigh believes that all children regardless of gender, age, or ability can benefit from yoga. She is looking forward to continuing her career as a children’s yoga teacher and is beyond excited to be a part of Little Dreamers Wellness Center!

Activities Coordinator & Youth Yoga Instructor
Liz began her journey into the world of yoga several years ago. Afflicted with nearly crippling afflictions, Liz went looking for ways to not only strengthen her body, but her heart and mind, too. She took to the practice quickly and regained the mobility she’d lost in a matter of days, as well as the tools to focus her mind and find peace in stressful and uncertain times. Hitting the mat to master her technique daily, she quickly saw its benefits and became instantly hooked on this new, yet old, way of life. After a few years of training, Liz knew she wanted to pass her knowledge and experience on to her daughter and other young yogis to start the next generation off on the benefits of this mindful exercise. She teaches children ages 2-12 yoga through games, songs, and imagination. Liz moved to the Eastern Shore from New Jersey with her family in 2016. When Liz is not hard at work at Little Dreamers as the Pre-K/K Yoga Instructor and Activities Coordinator, she enjoys making things from scratch; whether it be a nutritious meal for her family and friends, or shelves and wall hangings from reclaimed items and driftwood.
Creative Writing & Literacy
Brittney was raised on the Eastern Shore and spent most of her childhood in Fruitland, Maryland. She moved to Florida at ten, but quickly moved back to Maryland after turning eighteen. She received her associate's degree from Wor-Wic Community College. In 2010, she received her Bachelor's in Creative Writing with a minor in history from Salisbury University. Colleen Sullivan grew up in the South Hills of Pennsylvania, where she started taking dance & art classes at the age of 5. She practiced ballet, tap, jazz etc into her late teens at Miss Beverly’s School of Dance in Bethel Park, PA, Janet Hayes & Co Dance Studio in Upper St. Clair, PA, & at Ruby Daugherty and Sherry’s School of Dance in South Park, PA. She then taught an Intro to Ballet class to 3-4yr olds. Later attending the University of Pittsburgh from 2000-2002, she studied Psychology and Art, putting her dancing on hold, but thoroughly enjoyed exploring the human mind & the halls of the Carnegie Museum of Art. She then travelled all over the US, with her husband who was serving in the US Navy.
After becoming a mother, Colleen’s anxiety became overwhelming & childbirth left her in a great deal of back pain. While in physical therapy, she realized many of the exercises they recommended were similar to yoga poses/flows, which got her to practice yoga more regularly at home. Her first class was a Mommy & Me class in 2012 at the Red Doors Community Center in Ocean City, MD, taught by Carol Jenkins-Pike. Later, she took classes taught by Chelsea Brown on the docks of Island Resort in Chincoteague Island, VA. After taking summer classes again with Carol JP at Worcester Co Rec Center, she learned Carol also taught at Soul Yoga Studio in Salisbury, MD, and soon signed up for their 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training. She feels honored to be taught by so many amazing teachers at Soul Yoga Studio, especially owner Eva Whipple. Her hope is to share the gifts of yoga and provide children and adults with the tools to be mindful and healthy, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Colleen received her 200 RYT in October 2018 at Soul Yoga Studio. She also received 20 Hr Kids Yoga Training from Radient Child Yoga in April 2019 at Lotus Yoga Studio at The Personal Wellness Center in Salisbury, MD. Both certifications are recognized by Yoga Alliance. Since receiving these certifications, she has taught after school yoga at Pocomoke Elementary School and Yoga & Mindfulness for Wicomico Co Elementary Summer Academy. Colleen is currently a yoga teacher at Soul Yoga Studio and the Lower Shore YMCA. She truly looks forward to practicing yoga with the yogis at Little Dreamers!
